10 points for korean war.

1.
Sixteen groups sent soldiers from the united nations, however most were from the US. General Douglas MacArthur who was commander of all the United Nation troops.

As the war moved on, many people started to lose interest in it.

3. In July of 1951, President Truman accepted a Soviet suggestion to begin truth talks, which ended up lasting about 2 years.

4.
Most towns and cities were pretty sure that American troops would be home before december, including Gernal McArthur, but no one had predicted the Chinese, which changed their thoughts a lot.

5. Truman didn't like the idea of having segregated forces as a result of this most of teh forces were questioned and interragated.

6. American soldiers were still in korea way after the war ended.

7. When America got involved in the war, North Korea was close to defeating South Korea.

8. After the war, communism continued in Korea and America still had bad relations with the Soviet Union.

9. In the election of 1952, Eisenhower won easily because he promised to get America out of the war.

10.
In the talks with North Korea and China, Eisenhower said he was ready to use neuclear weapons if neccesary.
